HRIT Turns Pink! Join HRIT at the RACE FOR THE CURE, a flagship event of Komen Italy, the largest event for the fight against breast cancer in Italy and globally. Held under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, it takes place at the Circus Maximus in Rome. In addition to the traditional 2 km walk and the 5 km race open to all, the event includes a 10 km route reserved for competitive athletes. Thanks to this social event, over the past 25 years, it has been possible to launch more than 1500 new projects throughout Italy focused on research, prevention, and support for women experiencing breast cancer. THANKS TO THE FUNDS RAISED THROUGH THE RACE FOR THE CURE, KOMEN ITALY WILL IMPLEMENT: - Support activities for women who are dealing with breast cancer; - Scholarships for young researchers; - Collaborations with other associations in Italy; - Free prevention days aimed at women in socially vulnerable conditions through the Prevention Caravan.
